Business Development Manager


Job Description
  • Develop and execute annual business development strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in IT education, corporate training, funded projects, and referral programs.
  • Achieve student enrollment, revenue, and business growth targets.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, revenue projections, and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Build partnerships with schools, colleges, universities, corporate organizations, and government agencies nationwide.
  • Lead student recruitment initiatives and improve inquiry-to-enrollment conversion while optimizing customer acquisition cost (CAC).
  • Support OJT, workforce development, and employment initiatives.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and recommend courses and pricing strategies based on industry demand.
  • Collaborate with the Principal and Marketing team to develop and promote the course portfolio through digital campaigns, webinars and events.
  • Maintain CRM databases, monitor sales performance, and prepare regular business reports.
  • Execute both strategic planning and hands-on business development activities to drive sustainable growth.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or the education/training industry.
  • Experience in business expansion of IT training services or vocational education is highly preferred.
  • Proven success in B2B and B2C sales, strategic partnerships, key account management, and government relations.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Results-oriented, resilient, and able to perform effectively under pressure.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive, proactive, and customer-focused attitude.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, able to multitask, and willing to travel for business development activities.
